The Office

I was born in the nostalgic city of Boston Massachusetts! I grew up in the 60s and 70s until I joined the Army in 1977. I tried to join a year earlier, but you had to be 17 years old to join, so as soon as I reached that age my mother gladly signed and off I went.

But before I go there, let’s talk about the wild ride growing up in Boston. This was a rough ride at times, but at the same time very educational. See I jumped from a few different homes while trying to survive that childhood. The streets were a bit dangerous at that time, so it took some real awareness of what was around me and learning how not to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

The Office

I feel I got a good start with the family I was with when I was between the ages of three to ten years old. They were an older military couple that was based on honor, truth, and respect for others. I believe this was a positive structure to be in, and it was instilled in my brother, sister and me. So in turn these are the great values I have taken with me though the rest of my life and have kept me on the right track toward dealing with others.

I joined the Army when I turned 17 years old,  I tried to get in a year earlier, but was to young. My mother had to sign for me to join and she gave no problems in doing that because she was aware at that time, the streets was not one of the best places for young teenagers trying to find themselves. So off to Basic training November 1977, which of course was an experience not soon forgotten. Actually, I was very happy with the change of lifestyle and started learning and growing into a real soldier.

I spent many years in the Army, which taught me discipline, teamwork, courage, leadership and a great deal of other tools for success in life. I actually finished with about 29 plus years in service and retired 2008. But during the years I did some great traveling and was stationed in places like Germany, Kuwait, Iraq, Africa and Alaska to name a few. I learned to deal with people of all sorts and enjoy meeting with people from all walks of life. It is unbelievable how alike we all really are the world over.

I have found to be successful online or in anything for that matter, it takes educating ones self. There is a lot of learning to be done when setting up a successful business.
